Ensure that your system supports bootable discs

To start your system from a bootable disc, the system itself must support the bootable disc feature. Check your system BIOS settings (review your system’s user’s guide to learn how to access your system’s BIOS settings) and look for the Bootable CD-ROM support option. If it is available, enable the option. Most Pentium-class systems (or higher) support this feature.
